REPORTS
Friends of the Library: working on recruiting as they are low on members. Discussed future fundraising
opportunities and any future grants that they may be able to apply for.
Foundation: Held a second planning session for grant writing and looking at which places they can apply.
Found a new treasurer, awaiting to have quorum to be officially voted in. Contemplating having a summer
fundraiser or applying for grants.

DISCUSSION ITEMS
Library Updates: Aguilar provided an update on the budget process presented at the budget committee
and acknowledged which areas resulted in an increase in funds as a result of the new levy formula. An
update was also provided as to the status of the various leaks that have taken place in the library, which
are still pending to be resolved and which have been resolved. Informed the board that the library rolled
out a “Hygiene Pantry” as a discreet way to provide much needed items to the community, which include
feminine hygiene products, basic hygiene, and some other specialty items that ha …
