Comanche, TX76442. The purpose of this hearing is to allow citizens an oppo ity to
discuss and to obtain citizen co ents on the proposed Archive Plan for Fiscal year
2026 2027 as presented by the Co
Clerk. Local Government Code Section 118.025
provides the option for a fee not to exceed $10 to be imposed for recording or filing
public documents in the Co
Clerk's Office in any county for the purpose of
preserving, restoring and managing these county records. The legislation was designated
to target archived records. The law
orizes Co issioner's Court to adopt a record
archive fee as part of the co 's
al budget. This additional revenue will be
dedicated to help focus on preserving older records. Citizens unable to attend this
meeting may submit their views and proposals to Stephanie L. Davis, County Judge, l0l

An application to close an abandoned street in Proctor was considered. Stone Street between Oak Street
and Talbot Street has not been used as a street for a long while and structures have been built in this area. All
postings have been made and no objections to closing the street have been received.
Commissioner Sides made the motion to approve closing Stone Street for a distance of 300 feet
beginning at the coordinate of 31"59'20" N 98o26'4"W and terminating at 31o59'18"1{ 98"26'2" and update the

Commissioners Scott made the motion to approve the Minutes of March 23, 2026, Regular
Commissioners' Court Meeting with corrections to the public hearing to lower the speed on CR 416. Andy
Elswick was incorrectly named Eddie Elswick and during the speed study there were approximately 1700
vehicles traveled the road during the total study rather than in one day. Co issioner Sides made the second to
the motion. All approved. Motion passed.
A contract with UniFirst for precinct uniforms, door matts and mop heads was discussed. Currently part
of these services are under contract with two different vendors. It was recommended a single vendor furnish
these items. UniFirst is able to provide garment loss protection, include barcodes on garments to track each
garment according to number of times laundered. Also, provide updated uniform styles. No action was taken on
this item pending an updated contract.
