Refuse District

The Sanders County Board of Health approved two variance requests related to septic systems. The first allowed a drain field to be installed 40 feet from the 100-year floodplain boundary, waiving the usual 100-foot setback. The second approved a deviation from DEQ rules to continue using a gravity distribution system for a sand-lined drain field, pending application submission. Both motions passed unanimously.
