Discussion of Proposed Initiative 308, a collaborative effort led by TPL, TNC,
WRA CoCo, and partners for the November ballot. The measure would
dedicate approximately $175 million annually from existing sales tax revenue

The meeting of the Routt County Planning Commission was called to order at
6:00 p.m. with the following members present: Chair Steve Warnke and
Commissioners David Miller, Nick Belz, Brian Kelly, Andrew Benjamin, Jim
DeFrancia, and Tim Sullivan. Commissioners Linda Miller, Bill Norris, Robin
Schepper, and David Hoffman were absent. Staff planner Greg Jaeger also

DRAFT MINUTES
JULY 2, 2026
The meeting of the Routt County Planning Commission was called to order at
6:00 p.m. with the following members present: Chair Steve Warnke and
Commissioners Nick Belz, Andrew Benjamin, Bill Norris, David Hoffman, Jim
DeFrancia. Commissioners Brian Kelly, Linda Miller, Robin Schepper, David
Miller, and Tim Sullivan were absent. Staff planner Greg Jaeger also attended.
Sarah Katherman prepared the minutes.

County to consider Unified Development Code text amendment #4
The Board of County Commissioners will consider and possibly adopt the Unified Development Code text amendment #4 (PL20250088), which would revise county development regulations. The board will also act on several consent agenda items, including special use permits for Peabody Coal Haul and Peabody Sage Creek Coal Mine, ratification of a letter regarding the Enterprise Pipeline Spill, and vacation of utility easements.
