Commissioners to discuss public safety financing, approve sheriff pay raises and amended compensation plan

The Clear Creek Board of County Commissioners will consider renewing marijuana business licenses for Avicenna Products and Nature Med, approving a resolution honoring outgoing commissioners, and acting on a consent agenda including the warrant register, 2025 meeting schedule, transit department drug and alcohol policy amendments, highway tax fund mileage certification, a letter of support for Idaho Springs' RAISE grant application, 2025 holiday pay policy, employee weapons/firearms policy, and an amended 2024 compensation plan for all employees. The board will then hold an executive session on legal questions regarding the sheriff's salary authority, followed by action on pay increases for the sheriff's office, the annual appointment list, and the 2025 E911 emergency telephone charge.
