A Resolution Authorizing the Redemption and Withdrawal of
1659 Foster Avenue from Foreclosure.
WHEREAS, 1659 Foster Avenue (SBL# 39.42-1-14) was included on a List of
Delinquent Properties in a foreclosure action filed by the City, having Index No. 2025-1708; and
WHEREAS, the redemption period in said foreclosure action has expired, yet the owner
wishes to redeem;
WHEREAS, the Schenectady City Council wishes to allow the late redemption so long
as the owner pays the taxes, interest, invoices, and other charges including $2,500 for
reimbursement of City’s costs (collectively, the “funds for redemption”) within 30 days of the
effective date of this resolution. The settlement also includes releases of any claims against the

There were no conflicts of interest for any of the Commissioners.
Commissioner Beach informed everyone that the meeting will start with a roll call of all the
Commissioners that were present, as stated above. Commissioner Beach went on to list the
projects that were going to be discussed for the evening, and if anyone was there to speak about
a project that wasn ’t on the agenda, the Commission would not be able to speak on it this
evening. The projects will be introduced, the Commissioners will have the opportunity to ask
questions, and the applicants can come forward to speak about the project. The public will also
have an opportunity to speak to the projects.
Commissioner Nadler made a motion to approve the June 17 th meeting minutes with no changes.
Commissioner Roselan seconded the motion.

a project that wasn ’t on the agenda, the Commission would not be able to speak on it this
evening. The projects will be introduced, the Commissioners will have the opportunity to ask
questions, and the applicants can come forward to speak about the project. The public will also
have an opportunity to speak to the projects.
