Transit Advisory Committee Meeting

Climate Action Commission Meeting

Recreation, Music and Parks Commission

The Recreation, Music and Parks Commission will hear a presentation on the draft update to the Integrated Pest Management Plan for parks and facilities, and gather feedback on the Public Art Commission's Small Artwork Program for potential installation sites in public parks and spaces. The meeting also includes approval of November 2022 minutes and general public comment.

Climate Action Commission

The Climate Action Commission will hear a presentation on RCPA funding for climate change and receive an update from the Petaluma Equitable Climate Action Coalition on public active transportation listening sessions. The meeting is virtual only due to COVID-19. No new business is on the agenda.

Transit Advisory Committee

The January 12, 2023 regular meeting of the Petaluma Transit Advisory Committee has been cancelled because there were no agenda items to discuss. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on February 9, 2023.

Historic and Cultural Preservation Committee

The Historic and Cultural Preservation Committee will hold a study session on the Hotel Weaver project, a proposed 6-story, 70-foot-tall hotel at 2 Petaluma Boulevard South within the Historic Commercial District. The project includes a Zoning Text Amendment to increase allowable floor area ratio and height. No action will be taken at this meeting; it is for discussion and initial feedback only.

Planning Commission - CANCELLED

The scheduled regular meeting of the Petaluma Planning Commission for Tuesday, January 10, 2023, has been cancelled. The next regularly scheduled meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

Youth Commission

The Petaluma Youth Commission will discuss planning for an Earth Day event on April 22, 2023, including updating progress on a mission statement, flyer, and outreach to local groups. The meeting also includes approval of minutes from December 13, 2022, and public comment. No new business is listed.

CITY COUNCIL/PCDSA REGULAR MEETING

The City Council and PCDSA will hold a swearing-in ceremony for newly elected members, then consider consent items including purchasing two electric vehicles, adopting firearm storage regulations, and ratifying an emergency proclamation for the New Year's 2023 flooding event. A public hearing will introduce an ordinance to extend residential tenancy protections until a successor amendment takes effect.

Airport Commission
