Zoning Administrator Hinnenkamp provided an overview of the DNR Shoreland Recommendations. Area Hydrologist, Jacob Frie, conducted a review of the City of Crosby’s Shoreland Ordinance and standards. There are several areas where the City Ordinance may not meet the minimum requirements of the MN DNR. As a result, the DNR has recommended a number of amendments for the City of Crosby to consider. Zoning Administrator Hinnenkamp then asked the Planning Commission Members to make a tiered list of priority recommendations to bring to Council for consideration; including their recommendations as to what they view as high-priority, items to address that are not high-priority and recommendations that they do not want to recommend for consideration. …
