Dir Seamans Yes
K Deighan (4H Educator and Administrator for Carroll County Extension) UNH received a 10% cut
in their State budget, resulting in a $690,000 deficit. To make cuts, and not eliminate
currently occupied positions, the proposal is to not fill the position that was held by
now-retired Ann Hamilton. Ms. Hamilton’s position was funded 25% County funds and
75% state funds. The University is considering using the 25% County funds to offset the
salary of the County nutrition teacher. The Commissioners are invited to attend the
June 16 Extension meeting in Conway at 5:30pm.
