RESOLUTION FOR DECLARATION OF EMERGENCY/DISASTER
WHEREAS, Beadle County, South Dakota, has suffered severe tree and structural damage, brought
on by 100+MPH winds within City of Huron and surrounding Cities and Townships, and
WHEREAS , Beadle County has committed all available resources and taken all possible actions
within the jurisdictional boundaries to combat and to alleviate the emergency/disaster, local resources are
not adequate to cope with the situation, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: by the Beadle County Commission at an emergency
meeting held on July 9, 2026, it is hereby requested that the Governor declare an emergency/disaster to
exist in the County of Beadle.
The board adjourned at 9:15 a .m. to meet next on T ues day, July 14 , 2026 , 9 :00 a .m.

Huron School District 2-2 Board Member were drawn.

14, 2026, without any additions or corrections.
