Planning and Zoning Commission

The Planning and Zoning Commission will first approve routine consent items, including the minutes from the February 12, 2026 meeting and an excused‑absence request. It will then consider a preliminary plat application for about 10.4 acres of the Solid Rock subdivision, located west of Silverado Parkway between Frontier Parkway and FM 2931/Liberty Road, and make a recommendation to the City Council.

Parks and Recreation Board

The Aubrey Parks and Recreation Board will meet to approve minutes from previous meetings, consider an excused absence, and discuss park projects. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chambers.

Aubrey Area Library Advisory Board

The Aubrey Area Library Advisory Board will first determine if a quorum is present, then consider and adopt the minutes from its January 6, 2026 meeting. The board will receive a monthly report and calendar, discuss library updates, and consider requests for items to be placed on future agendas. No other actions are scheduled.

City Council

The City Council will discuss an economic development incentive agreement for a Wal-Mart retail facility and a public hearing for the annexation of 10 acres at 8445 FM 2931. The body will also review the Fiscal Year 2025 Audit and various professional service contracts.

The council approved the annexation of a 10‑acre parcel (Ordinance 950‑26) and adopted the name “Ray Roberts Parkway” for US 377 (Ordinance 949‑26). It also accepted the FY 2025 audit, approved a $45,700 engineering services agreement, appointed Nicole Nelson to the Parks and Recreation Board, and authorized $200,000 in targeted improvement grants. All motions passed unanimously (4‑0).
