¢ Amember of the public asked whether the proposed county EMS sales tax would apply to
groceries. The commissioners stated their understanding that the EMS sales tax would apply to
food because it is a local sales tax. The State of Kansas discontinued the state food sales tax on
January 1, 2025.
Approval of the Agenda — With the removal of Road and Bridge Grading Discussion, the agenda was
approved. Passed 3-0.
