City Council

The American Fork City Council is holding a work session to hear reports from PARC Tax recipients on their projects. This is a study item only, with no action being taken. The reports cover the Wasatch Music Alliance's activities and finances, as well as updates on city projects funded by the PARC tax, including playgrounds, pickleball courts, and library programs.

• Wasatch Music Alliance reports on concerts, attendance, and finances, including $50,266 in PARC funding for 2021-2022.
• Hunter Playground: $204,985 budget (including $54,985 grant) for playground purchase and installation, scheduled for spring 2023.
• Hindley Pickleball Courts: $412,500 grant for six lighted courts, installation scheduled for spring/summer 2023.
• Shade structures at the pool: $28,300 grant, with $28,250 spent, installation in spring 2023.
• Friends of the Library projects: Teen Zone supplies ($6,000), Book Fairy ($16,600), and Writing Class ($3,600) updates.
