July 6, 2026
Effective 01/20/2026, The Board of Supervisors will approve Action Minutes. Complete audio/video recording of

1. CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL MEETING
Chair Griffith called the special meeting to order at 12:30 pm with Supervisors Dobson, Mecak,
Woodrow, and Griffith. Supervisor Jim was absent.
2. REGULAR AGENDA - NEW BUSINESS
2.1. Town Hall with U.S. Representative Tom McClintock. - Supervisor District 4
Congressional representative Tom McClintock met with Alpine County for a
community meeting to hear directly from residents and discuss issues affecting our
region. Community members were invited to attend, ask questions, share their
perspectives, and learn more about federal initiatives impacting Alpine County and
California's 5th Congressional District. Community members providing questions
were Elizabeth Sears, Jeff Brees, Amy Skews-Cox, Bev Crawford, Brenda
Hernandez, Andrea Dean, Linda Jacovy, Marie Bravo, Judy Molnar, Kate Harvey,
Mike Makley, Nick Hartzell, Alec Hogg, and Jeanne Lear. No action was taken.
3. ADJOURNMENT
The Board adjourned to the special meeting of July 7, 2026, at 8:30 am, and then to the next
regular meeting of July 7, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Alpine County Government Center, 99 Water
