Data center moratorium and zoning

The Planning & Zoning Committee held a public hearing on July 28 and a deliberative meeting on August 6 to consider a proposed 12-month moratorium on the receipt, processing, and approval of new data center zoning applications. The committee also discussed establishing a data center definition in Chapter 23 of the Winnebago County General Code. At the August 6 meeting, the committee reviewed conditional use requests for Thistle Dairy LLC, Richard Jordan, and Fox Storage LLC, as well as a parcel matter involving Devereaux Rev Trust Et al on Stanford Dr in Neenah.

Budget and finance

The Solid Waste Management Board reviewed a budget amendment request for solid waste hauling services in the amount of $410,000 on August 5. Winnebago County roundup: Library board acts on bills and agreement; County Board set for major votes July 21
