The Plan Commission held a public hearing on rezoning 4205 and 4307 Weston Avenue from B-2 Highway Business to LI Limited Industrial, for a personal storage facility. The commission recommended denial to the Village Board, which will take up the request. The Plan Commission also reviewed a sign special exception for L&S Electric at 5707 Schofield Ave and a new Animal Fancier License at 5512 N. Birch Ln.

Weston board to weigh police HQ funding, rezoning, and budget priorities

Police headquarters financing

Minimum annual debt repayments are $70,000 to Rothschild and $130,000 to Weston starting June 30, 2028. The board previously awarded a $6.3 million construction bid to 8Pine. Rezoning and other land-use items
