A Conditional-Use Permit request by Doug Jensen covers Jensen Gardens, described as a five lot/unit minor subdivision at 175 North 200 West.

Two code amendments were also noticed: Ordinance 2026-17, adding Section 17.12.245, "Zoning Clearance Process," to Title 17, "Zoning Regulations," and Ordinance 2026-18, adding Section 17.81.150, "Concept Plan Review Process," for Master Planned Community zones.

The Smithfield City Council and Planning Commission held meetings in August to consider zoning changes, a fee schedule update, and accessory dwelling unit regulations. Minutes have not yet been published, so no decisions are confirmed.

City Council (Aug. 12)

The council was scheduled to hold public hearings on two Cache County Council of Governments (COG) applications for road projects: one south of 250 East 600 South, and one at 600 South 1000 East going southward.

The council was also scheduled to vote on:
