Santaquin City Council considers budget, salaries, and ADU ordinance; no decisions yet

City Council: Budget, Salaries, and ADU Ordinance

On August 18, the City Council held public hearings on two topics: setting a compensation schedule for elected officers and possible cost-of-living and merit increases for executive municipal officers. The council also considered an ordinance to permit detached accessory dwelling units in all residential zones, a resolution to ratify the final FY2026-2027 budget, and a resolution for an agreement with the Central Utah Water Conservancy District for financial construction support.
