Rocky Ridge boards review mapping, EMS, and speed requests
Rocky Ridge's Planning and Zoning Commission and Town Council met in August to review a range of agenda items, including zoning, emergency services (EMS) providers, and speed reduction requests. Minutes for these meetings have not yet been published, so the following is based on the agendas.
Planning and Zoning Commission — August 11
The commission met at Town Hall to approve the July minutes and discuss several unfinished business items:
- **Board of Adjustments – Updated Phase E Map Approval** – The commission reviewed an updated Phase E map for the Board of Adjustments.
- **Mapping Road Rows and Lot Lines** – Updates to road rows and lot line mappings were on the agenda.
- **WUI Code Requirements Map** – The commission discussed an update to the Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) code requirements map.
- **Cost for Mapping of Right-of-Way (ROW)** – The cost associated with mapping right-of-way was also discussed.
No new business or ordinances were listed on the agenda.
Town Council — August 19
The Town Council held a public hearing to receive citizen comments or objections regarding Rocky Ridge EMS Service Providers. The council also addressed the following items:
- **Consolidated Fee Schedule Review** – The council reviewed the town's consolidated fee schedule.
- **Rocky Mountain Power – Well #3** – The agenda included a change for Well #3 to Schedule 6A; Town Hall remains on Schedule #23.
- **Hillside Drive Speed Reduction Request** – A request to reduce speed on Hillside Drive was discussed.
- **Rocky Ridge Road Speed Reduction Request** – A similar request for Rocky Ridge Road was also on the agenda.
The council also approved the July minutes, received departmental updates, and opened the floor for citizen and council items.
