Trumbull Council approves $770,469 in supplemental appropriations

Town Council

Trumbull committees approve $12.85M school sitework bid, $829,409 in year-end appropriations

The Hillcrest Middle School Building Committee unanimously selected K&W Construction's $12,852,660 bid for sitework, the largest single spending decision among Trumbull's boards and commissions over the past two weeks. The committee also approved Fortress Fencing's $299,000 bid for temporary fencing and a $9,969 credit change order, both unanimously.

Hillcrest Middle School Building Committee (July 14)

In addition to the sitework and fencing bids, the committee approved four invoices totaling $256,503.06 and accepted several project alternates. Members voted 6–2 to accept parking, an athletic field, and pickleball courts, and 5–3 to accept new asphalt, geothermal wells, and an amphitheater. A precast seating alternate was rejected 1–7.
