Employees Retirement Board

The retirement board met Aug. 18 to review the quarterly investment performance report for the period ending June 30, 2026, including market value and asset allocation as of August 6, 2026. The board confirmed the election of Gabe Lopez to fill a vacant employee representative position. It also reviewed a revenue and expenditure report for the quarter ending June 30, 2026.

The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing Aug. 26 on Appeal #3-2026, a request for a dimensional variance to install a 6-foot privacy fence at 718 Pierce Ct. The property has three front yards where fences are limited to 3 feet, but pool safety requires a 6-foot fence per Section 98-106(e). Staff recommends approval. The meeting will also approve minutes from March 17, 2026.

Tecumseh council to weigh clinic zoning, SRO extension; recent meeting minutes pending

Tecumseh's City Council meets tonight (Aug. 17) to consider a first reading of an ordinance that would allow medical, dental and clinical uses in the D2 Edge district, and to extend the School Resource Officer agreement. The council also will approve the August list of bills.
