• **City Council** – July 9, 2026. Public hearings are set for four zoning items:
• Rezone agriculture to single-family on Hidden Hills Circle
• Rezone general retail to heavy commercial on South Eastman Road
• Specific use permit for a restaurant with private club at Eastman Road and Dennis Drive
• Rezone general retail/heavy commercial to planned development at 119 W. Marshall Avenue

The council will also consider a budget amendment allocating a $240,000 federal Safe Streets for All grant and a $60,000 local match, along with a resolution to apply for a $54,271.80 homeland security grant for a fire department chemical analysis device.
