Lincoln County boards take up flood code, appeal, and contracts in August
Lincoln County's Planning Commission and Board of Commissioners held meetings in mid-August, with agendas covering a flood hazard code revision, an appeal of a staff decision, and several county contracts. Minutes from these meetings have not yet been published, so no decisions have been reported.
Planning Commission
The Planning Commission held a public hearing on Aug. 10 to consider a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners on a revision of the flood hazard management code. The agenda also included approval of draft minutes from the June 8 and May 18 meetings, a call to order, a past-action review, and a discussion of commission concerns.
On Aug. 17, the commission held a public hearing to consider an appeal of an administrative staff decision on project 26-FP-25. Fair Board
The Lincoln County Fair Board met Aug. 13. The agenda included approval of minutes from the June 11 meeting, a report from the fair manager, and committee reports. Public comment was limited to three minutes per person. The agenda listed no major policy or financial actions. The board's next meetings are scheduled for Sept. 10, Oct. 8, and Nov. 12; no December meeting is scheduled.
Board of Commissioners
The Board of Commissioners held a virtual meeting Aug. 19. The agenda included adoption of the consent calendar with several contracts and agreements, including:
- A services agreement between LC HHS BH and Linda Gray for the period April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2026.
- A SADA Systems Google Workspace Enterprise annual renewal.
- A Compunet agreement.
- A contract with FEI Testing & Inspection, Inc. for the Animal Shelter Generator Project.
- A resolution declaring County Vehicle #293 surplus and authorizing its disposal.
