The Board of Adjustment considered two variance requests:

County Board: consent agenda Aug. 18

The County Board of Commissioners met Aug. 18 with a consent agenda that included:

• Approval of final plats for Stanford Meadows East and Rollings Ponds Second Addition.
• A lease renewal with Quadient for a new mail machine, saving $75.15 per month, or $4,509 over 60 months.
• A contract amendment with Region 7E AMHI and the State of Minnesota.
• A contract with Princeton School District for foster care transportation.
• Health and Human Services payments and vouchers totaling $318,435.33.

Planning Commission subcommittee: zoning ordinance discussion Aug. 19

The Planning Commission Subcommittee held a working session to discuss four zoning ordinance amendments. No votes were scheduled; the items were listed for discussion only:

• The Shoreland Model Ordinance.
• The Contractor's Yard Ordinance.
• The Rural Tourism Ordinance.

Isanti County boards tackle plats, wheelage tax, and zoning in busy July stretch

Isanti County's boards and commissions covered a wide range of land-use, budget, and infrastructure topics in the first half of July. However, minutes have not yet been published for any of the recent meetings, so the items below reflect what was on each agenda — not confirmed outcomes.

County Board of Commissioners — July 7

The County Board's July 7 agenda included approval of final plats for three developments: Maple Ridge Pines, Gracie Acres, and Black Fox Farm. The board also scheduled a public hearing on a proposed wheelage tax increase, which would affect county road funding.

Other agenda items were a BNSF Construction and Maintenance Agreement, a 2026–2027 portable restroom contract, and second-half payments of appropriations to community organizations. The board also planned to discuss 2027 budget goals.

Planning Commission — July 8
