Jordan City Council reviews capital plan, budget, South Tower bid
The Jordan City Council met on Aug. 10 and Aug. 21 to consider a range of items, including a multi-year capital improvement plan, a preliminary budget and levy, and a resolution to authorize bidding for the South Tower project. Aug. 10 meeting
The council's Aug. 10 agenda included the 2027-2031 Capital Improvement Plan, a façade matching grant for 115 Broadway St S, partial pay applications for the Beaumont Ave Street & Utility Extensions and the 2026 Infrastructure Improvements, a final pay application for Broadway Plaza, and Resolution 08-53-2026 to adopt the Emerald Ash Borer Management Plan.
Aug. 21 meeting
The Aug. 21 agenda included a discussion of the preliminary budget and levy, as well as franchise fees. The council also considered Resolution 08-54-2026 to receive final plans and authorize bidding for the South Tower project, Resolution 08-55-2026 supporting a setback variance for Jim's Apple Farm's building expansion, and a special events permit application for Frankies Wunder-Fest Oktoberfest.
