Finance Committee Advances Four Fund Transfers; City Council Weighs Rezones and Budget Items

The Fishers Finance Committee on Aug. 12 unanimously approved sending four resolutions to the full City Council that authorize the City Controller to transfer or appropriate funds for public safety, criminal investigation, sewer operations, and other purposes. The committee also approved the minutes from its July 15 meeting. No other substantive decisions were made.

Fishers boards review contracts, rezoning, and new subdivisions; no decisions yet

This week, several Fishers boards met to review contracts, rezoning requests, and subdivision plats. All meetings were agenda-only, meaning no final decisions have been published yet. The most consequential item under consideration is a rezoning that would allow a 32-lot single-family neighborhood, along with a proposed 177,000-square-foot sports facility.

Board of Public Works and Safety
