Easton Conservation Commission Recommends Joint Ownership of Morehouse Property

The Easton Conservation Commission, acting as the Inland Wetlands Agency, recommended joint ownership of the 21-acre Morehouse property with the Aspetuck Land Trust at its July 28 meeting. The commission also approved text amendments to zoning regulations and continued a public hearing on a subdivision.

The commission voted unanimously to recommend 50 percent undivided ownership of the Morehouse property between the Town and the Aspetuck Land Trust. It also approved, also unanimously, text amendments to Planning and Zoning regulations: section 5900 regarding Conservation Development and section 3.05 regarding Open Space.
