Round Rock ISD board weighs tax rate, election, insurance; no votes recorded yet
The Round Rock Independent School District Board of Trustees has held several meetings in the past two weeks, but no official decisions have been published yet. The most consequential items on the agenda include setting the 2026 tax rate and calling a voter-approval tax rate election for November 3, 2026.
Called board meeting (Aug. 13)
The board held a called meeting on Aug. 13 with an agenda that included:
- Adopting a resolution designating a Tax Rate Calculation Officer.
- Adopting an order setting the tax rate for the 2026 tax year.
- Adopting an order calling a Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election on November 3, 2026.
