Burton council to weigh $350K sidewalk project, demolition hearings

Parks and Recreation Commission

Burton City Council approves $602,566 road resurfacing contract; C-2 zoning ordinance stalls in tie vote

The Burton City Council approved a $602,566.25 road resurfacing contract for Burton Estates at its July 20 meeting, the largest dollar item among a slate of unanimous votes. A proposed ordinance to require special approval for certain C-2 general business uses failed to advance after a 3-3 tie.
