Planning Board

Billerica's town boards held a busy stretch of meetings in the second half of July, with the Select Board scheduled to act on a roughly $1 million sewer borrowing, two restaurant liquor-license hearings, and a bike-path grant. Select Board

The Select Board's July 20 agenda listed a vote to approve $1,055,958 in borrowing from the Massachusetts Clean Water Trust for the Sewer I/I Rehabilitation Project. The same meeting included public hearings on two Boston Road restaurants: Two Putt LLC at 279 Boston Road, Unit A, seeking a new all-alcoholic-beverages restaurant license and entertainment licenses, and Armando & Luiza Restaurant Inc., doing business as Belly Buster Diner at 306 Boston Road, seeking a wine and malt beverages license and a change of operating hours. Conservation Commission and Historic Districts Commission

The Conservation Commission's July 20 agenda included a new public hearing on a Notice of Intent for 15 Middlesex Turnpike, with applicant John Li of BBPA Realty Trust, under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and local bylaw. Continued hearings covered the Ichabod Lane Culvert Replacement, the 2026 Roadway Management Program on various roadways, 14 Sterling Road, and the Faulkner Street Talbot Mills Dam Removal Project — each continued to August 17, 2026.
