Pawtucket council to weigh high school site control; license board to hear winter festival petition

Pawtucket council confirms Parks Commission reappointments; license board approves festival licenses

The Pawtucket City Council confirmed three reappointments to the Parks Commission on July 22, 2026, while the Board of License Commissioners approved event and business licenses for upcoming festivals and ordered waste haulers to limit collection hours.

City Council

The council approved the July 8, 2026 meeting records and a consent agenda that included claims for damages, both by unanimous voice vote.
