discussing more ways to collaborate in the future.
Second grade students from the Jefferson School came to the library for tours, library
orientation,and library card sign-up applications.
A new walking book club will be launched in July called Cardio & Cliffhangers

Peter Galecki of 53 Main Ave. addressed the Mayor and Council regarding ongoing safety concerns at the intersection of
Main Avenue and Maple Avenue. Mr. Galecki presented photographs depicting vehicles parked in a manner he described
as hazardous to motorists and pedestrians. He also referenced the use of “Safety Stick” camera poles implemented in
neighboring municipalities, such as Garfield, as a potential enforcement measure to deter illegal parking.
Mayor Dabal noted that, at the previous meeting, rapid flashing pedestrian beacons for the intersection of Main Avenue and
Maple Avenue had been ordered. She stated that the intersection has been on the Borough’s radar for some time and …
