The tree is 65 to 68-feet tall. Large branches and limbs are falling into her yard. Colby is aware of the concerns but refused to allow the arborist to inspect the tree from his property. MINUTES OF MEETING OF SEWICKLEY BOROUGH COUNCIL March 10, 2026 Call to Order The council meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM by President Mullins. Pledge of Allegiance President Mullins led the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call Present: Julie Barnes, Bridgett Bates via phone, Todd Hamer, Donna Korczyk, Kristopher Lorang, Cynthia Mullins, Tom Rostek, Linda Solecki, Anne Willoughby. Manager Donna Kaib, Solicitor Nate Boring and Mike Galet were on the dais. Mayor Shannon was absent. Approval of Consent Agenda On a motion by Korczyk for the Approval of Consent Agenda as submitted, with a second by Willoughby. All in favor. Motion passed. Shade Tree Commission

Shade Tree Commission will review tree removal, planting and maintenance plans

The Shade Tree Commission will consider the minutes from the January 4, 2026 meeting and the arborist’s report. It will discuss the Tree Removal Program for winter 2025/2026, the Tree Planting Program for spring 2026, and the Tree Maintenance Program for 2026. The commission will also review applications for tree work at three borough addresses and address commission reorganization.
