NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the regularly scheduled Planning Commission Meeting s
of July 14th and July 28th, 2026, are cancelled due to a lack of agenda items.
The next regular meeting of the Planning Commission will be held on August 11, 2026,
at 6:30 PM.
Public meetings are held in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 320 W. Newmark
Ave. in the City of Monterey Park. For information on public meetings visit the City’s website
at www.montereypark.ca.gov.

✓ Decidido: Council places Transient Occupancy Tax amendment on November ballot
The City Council unanimously voted to place a ballot proposition on the November 3, 2026, election that would amend the city's Transient Occupancy Tax. The council also approved the $1.9 million Fiscal Year 2025-2026 Sewer Rehabilitation contract with Ramona, Inc., adopted the 2025 Urban Water Management Plan, and certified results of the June 2, 2026, special municipal election. Several items were discussed without action, including the Inclusionary Housing Feasibility Study and the Los Palos Incident local emergency.
