So as we continue through the remaining workshop agenda items, Council President Byrd, the floor and workshop meeting is yours. Thank you very much, Mayor. If anyone has any correspondence or comments they want to read, get my attention. Nobody else does? Anybody? Go ahead. Okay. Just me tonight, maybe. Just a reminder that the Merchant Trick or Treat will be this Thursday, the 29th in downtown from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be many businesses and organizational partners along with the city participating. And the Hudson High School students will also be doing a flash mob performance of Thriller on the 1st and Main Green. And that's scheduled to take place around 6 p.m. If you didn't see it last year, it was quite amazing. So that'll be down there. And the weather looks like it's going to be great. The Hudson Citywide Trick or Treat will again be on Halloween as it is every year. So that will be Saturday, October 31st. And the Citywide Trick or Treat, that is 6 to 8 p.m. So difference in the two times between Merchant Trick …

Thank you. Last Planning Commission meeting and subcommittee meeting, the subcommittee tabled the application with a few questions that we've tracked, and the Planning Commission tabled the application as they're awaiting a subcommittee recommendation. So the updates that I have, just one as a general, the applicant has planted additional landscaping on site and I took the plans out in the field, counted the trees, things like that, and has aligned with what was proposed in the revised landscaping plan. The applicant submitted an updated rendering. They've submitted updated plan sheets that are essentially addressing that window item that the subcommittee brought up and the staff comments brought up on window fenestration on one of the units that would be Building C. They've submitted a letter from the Commercial and Savings Bank and they have submitted material samples of note though. We did notes that the wall material is being proposed as a fiber board while the previous approved siding was fiber cement board. And then I think the main question was how some of the plans changed from the previous December 2022 meeting. So I went back and watched the video and my memory was a little hazy but I believe it was correct. It was, that original approval was in December 12th of 2022. So staff issued a comments and recommendation prior to that meeting and one of those was to recommend removing the corner brick banding as it was not typical for a board and batten design and also incr …

You guys ready? Are you ready? Okay. So I'd like to call to order the Architectural and Historic Board of Review for October 14th, 2026. Roll call. We have... Are you... Francois, are you officially here? Are you officially here for the meeting? I have no idea. You can take roll right now. Okay. So we have only one missing, Mr. Caputo, our chair. So I'm acting chair Alan Marzullo for this evening. This time, if there's... Well, Mr. Sugar, do you want to... Next is... Yes. Our first item, the title is Architectural and Historic Board of Review, Board Member Attendance Determination. This is related to the board attendance policy that was established in 2024. It states that if there's a 12-month period where a board member's attendance drops below 75%, the board member's attendance then comes before the board for determination to excuse those absences. So we're looking to discuss a motion to excuse these abs ences for Francois Kenny tonight. Francois, did you want to speak? Absolutely not. I find the whole thing very strange in terms of process. So... Yep. Okay. I don't think anyone besides myself knows the reason that we may or may not want to excuse it. So I think... It's not explicitly stated. If you feel that these absences were excuse, our understanding was these were family engagements for Ms. Kenny. And she's been in constant contact with us... That's what I wanted to hear. ...over the year. Yeah. So the issue is family engagements and that you're lost a little bit more …

I don't know either. Good evening. I'd like to call to order the Architectural and Historic Board of Review meeting for tonight, September 23, 2026. At this time, if anyone has any public comment they'd like to make about anything that's on the agenda or anything that's appropriate, you can come up and make your statement. I'll go call. Thank you. Tonight we have five of our seven. So we have Quorum, Ms. Boutier, Mr. Brown, Ms. Zizinski, and Mr. Workley and myself, Ms. Marzullo. Okay. So I know I don't see anyone interested in the public comment tonight, so we'll go to consent applications. And tonight we do not have any consent applications, so we move to old business. And first up is number 261052, 5 Baldwin Street. Okay. Come on up. Have a seat. I guess I can give a brief orientation. This proposal is for siding replacement, windows, and a new awning on a detached accessory structure. Staff notes this application was continued at the September 9th ARC board meeting. A site visit did take place on September 22nd. And additionally, the applicant has submitted a revised west side elevation depicting a more consistent window design for the board's consideration based off the discussion that was had at the last meeting. And in regards to comment E, staff just wants to note that the applicant has revised the proposed windows to Pella Reserve instead of the Geldwin sightland series. The applicant is here this evening to answer any additional questions that the board may have. Oka …

Go ahead and get started. I'd like to call this meeting to order. This is a duly noticed workshop meeting of Hudson City Council held in accordance with the Sunshine Laws of the State of Ohio, Section 121.22 and the City of Hudson Charter, Article 3, Section 3.02 for Tuesday, September 22, 2026. It is 7.30 p.m. Per ordinance 220.031 titled workshop meetings and item C, I would now like to turn the meeting over to Council President Byrd. So as we continue through the remaining workshop and items, Council President Byrd, the floor and workshop meeting is yours. All right. Thank you very much. Number two is correspondence and council comments. If there's any correspondence or council comments that you want to talk about to get my attention. Sam. Yes. Two. We had a BCBA meeting last Wednesday. We had to have an extra one this month just because there's so many different applications for different variances and things. The last person to present on Wednesday was for the dentist's office that's going to be going in. And the only reason why they needed to come was because the way our code is listed currently, it was not listed as a medical clinic. So they actually had to ask for more parking spots. So it's just kind of an example of where we might need to adjust our code to encompass more of a umbrella term. So maybe that would have prevented them having to come and sit for, you know, two and a half hours to get the variance for those spaces. And then I did meet with the resident la …

Mr. Innamorato - Planning Commission
Ms. Marzulla - Architectural and Historical Board of Review
Mr. Sugar introduced the application by reviewing the staff report. He noted that the Standard Shop Company
project, approved in 2020, is approaching the expiration of its allowable build time. He also summarized the
revisions to the building that had been discussed with the applicant.
Mr. Joe Crowder, representing CGI Construction, explained that the large rear wall with a lack of fenestration
results from the interior design and mentioned the possibility of installing a false window. He added that the
window facing Terex Road could be trimmed in a more appropriate manner.
The Subcommittee, along with architect Mr. Mark Leszynski, observed that Hardie Board and brick matching the

So we'd like to call the meeting to order. This is the meeting of the Architectural and Historic Board of Review for Wednesday, September 9th, 2026. We will start with roll call. Tonight we do have quorum. We have Ms. Poutier, Mr. Brown, Ms. Marzullo, Mr. Workley, and myself. So we do have more than four members for quorum. We will now open it to public comment. This is when anybody may address the board regarding anything that is or is not on the agenda. We ask that you keep your comments to five minutes or less. Is there any public comment tonight? Seeing none, we will close public comment. We will move on to consent applications. Tonight we have two. First is 26-1217-290 North Main Street. This is a fence in the Historic District and 26-1079-134 Aurora Street. And this is a new window in the Historic District. Make a motion to approve as submitted. I'll second. All in favor? Aye. That is all for consent. Opening all the business. First is 2026-94586 Owen Brown Street. And these are townhomes. Yes, I can give a staff update. This application was continued from the August 26th HBR meeting. And the site plan will be reviewed by the Planning Commission next Monday at the September 14th meeting. It was continued from the previous meeting. And the applicant has submitted additional documentation. Since the overall massing and height in the Owen Brown Street unit were such a critical item, the applicant has looked at that and asked that the board consider the updates that we're a …

It was extremely well done. I hope we see that again in the future. Also wanted to speak to the Home Committee we met last week , which, reminder, includes council, schools, parks, library, and the mayor. And a few topics we discussed are the transportation issues that we're seeing at the schools. The school buses seem to be running a bit late. The time is now 8 o'clock on Monday, August 31st, 2026, and I would like to call the special meeting of the Planning Commission to order. This meeting has been duly noticed under the Ohio Revised Code statutes for open meetings, and having called the meeting to order, Mr. Sugar, would you please call the roll? Yes. Ms. Obert? Here. Mr. Inamorato? Here. Ms. McCoy? Here. Mr. Nystrom? Mr. Romano? Ms. Norman? We have a quorum of six out of seven members. Just for the record, Ms. Smith is supposed to be here tonight. She may be arriving late or not at all, so it will be a surprise. Before we go to the items of business on our agenda, I wanted to give Ms. Obert the floor. She had a question for counsel related to recusal issues. Ms. Obert? I believe the previous time the applicant had come here, I had a contract in place with them, and I had to recuse myself from that meeting. That contract has since terminated. Do I need to recuse for this meeting? Meaning I have no current active representation of that client. It would have been, yeah, it was October 27th of 2025. We had a meeting, and Ms. Obert was on the Planning Commission at that time. So... It strikes me that because the case is still ongoing, as a ... We'd rather do it right, so that's... Just being safe. Yeah, totally fine. That's why I asked. If they came in now, you would not, but because you were... ...the site has made a deal of that. I don't want to... We don't want more issues either. Absolutely. Thank you. Ms. Obert …

It's 7.30. We're going to go ahead and get started. I'd like to call this meeting to order. This is a duly noticed workshop meeting of Hudson City Council held in accordance with the Sunshine Laws of the State of Ohio, Section 121.22 and the City of Hudson Charter, Article 3, Section 3.02. It is Tuesday, August 25, 2026, and it is 7.30 p.m. Per ordinance 220.031 titled workshop meetings and item C, I would now like to turn the meeting over to Council President Byrd so as to continue through the remaining workshop agenda items. Council President Byrd, the floor and workshop meeting is yours. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. We will begin with correspondence and council comments. I would ask that tonight we have some special guests from APGov. Yeah, so let's make it interesting, make it crisp. Don't they have to stand up and introduce themselves? Just kidding. They don't have to do that. But if anybody has any correspondence or council comments, get my attention. Patricia. Just want to remind everybody next Monday, I am having an open forum at the Barlow Community Center at 7 o'clock, and it's about rentals, short-term rentals, and long-term rentals. So I hope a large crowd will come, and we can really kind of talk out what the community thinks about both of those issues. Thank you. Just appreciated the great crowd we had last week at the e- bike and e-scooter forum last week. We had many great ideas that were discussed across the board. I recall this meeting to order. This is the Industrial Design Subcommittee and it is Monday, August 24th, 6:45 p.m . Mr. Sugar, would you like to do the roll call? Yes, thank you. Mr. Workley? Ms. Marzullo? Here. Mr. Nomorato? Here. Okay, then Nick, can you present the first applicant? Yes. We have one case tonight for the Industrial Design Sub committee. It's a proposed daycare and it would be located at the corner of West Reetsboro Street and Tarex. This was before the Planning Commission for Concept Site Plan Review back in March and April, but obviously the first time the design was before this subcommittee. We had issued a staff memo last week and if you received that email, the applicant has revised the design. We'll be happy to turn over the applicant, though I just wanted to note a few of the changes relative to the staff comments. There is a revised hip roof. They removed the stucco exterior building materials and it's gone to predominantly brick and hardy now. The signage has been reduced, though that would be a separate application. But though it is appropriate to review the sign banding on where it's going to be located on the building right now. And the trash enclosures have been revised to brick. And I have the updates and there's a hard copy in front of you. And I can turn it over to the applicant for some background and intro. So you have about five minutes. Perfect. My name is Kim T atch. I'm with Crosslands Developed Companies. I wanted to say just overview. …
