The Parking Garage Special Technical Committee was called to order at 3:00 PM.
Present: Ana Sinclair, Jordan Geertgens, Keith Mullins, Tod Howard, William Downs, Rocky
DeStefano, Evan Francasso, Julianna Green
COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
Committee Member Howard motioned to approve the minutes, Ana Sinclair seconded.
Passes 8-0.
DISCUSSION OF DESIGN PRIORITIES
Committee members discussed what everyone cares about most and their priorities.
Committee members took a poll of their priorities and discussed.
RANKING OF PRIORITIES
Consensus was had for three different designs and to add a fee based management
system onto the garage.
Consensus for one design at City Hall Site has a minimum City Hall Site, mixed use for the
design where the designer picks it out, matches City Hall, City Hall 7th street for service
retail business professionals, 800 square foot lined. A second City Hall site being a brick
building with only parking and the third design with the first floor being a public use space
such as a library or theater.
Development Liaison Ertel noted he would get information on the 7th street garage and if
they can wrap it with commercial.

Commissioner Hoisington shared that she attended the city's Juneteenth celebration and
described it as a very positive experience. She encouraged everyone to make time to attend next
year's event and celebrate Juneteenth together, emphasizing its value to the community.
Commissioner Cramer expressed enthusiasm about the proposed dark sky compliance ordinance,
noting that it is an issue he has supported for a long time. He thanked city staff and the legal
department for their significant work in developing the ordinance and bringing it forward for
