The South San Francisco City Council will hold public hearings on zoning amendments to update accessory dwelling unit regulations to comply with state law and to allow residential entitlements to be extended by up to two years. The council will also vote on a consent calendar that includes a $1.94 million increase to the Axon police equipment contract, amendments to contracts for the Orange Memorial Park Aquatic Center, and several library funding acceptances. Council to approve $1.94M Axon police equipment contract amendment
The City Council will vote on a consent calendar with routine items, including contracts, grants, and budget amendments. The most consequential item is a $1.94 million increase to the Axon police equipment contract for body-worn cameras, Tasers, and related services. The council will also consider a $1.55 million landscaping contract, a $281,128 ADA transition plan, and a $250,399 CHP grant for police overtime.

COMMENTS ARE LIMITED TO THREE (3) MINUTES PER SPEAKER
Under the Public Comment section of the agenda, members of the public may speak on any item not listed
on the Agenda. Pursuant to provisions of the Brown Act, no action may be taken on a matter unless it is
listed on the agenda, or unless certain emergency or special circumstances exist. The Chair may direct
staff to investigate and /or schedule certain matters for consideration at a future meeting. If there appears
to be a large number of speakers, the Chair may reduce speaking time to limit the total amount of time for
public comments (Gov. Code sec. 54954.3(b)(1).).
