Chairman Armstrong called the workshop to order at 4:30 p.m.   NEOLA Update 26.1 and Other District Updates Kevin Shibley, Chief of Staff, reviewed NEOLA Update 26.1 and Other District Updates before the policies are submitted for board approval. Edits were suggested to the following policies: 0100, 0169.1, 2410, 2461, 3130, 5136, 5410.01, 5500, 7540.02, 7544, 8330, and 8800.  The changes will be reflected in the policies submitted for the public hearing on February 3, 2026. La Junta Escolar del Condado de Pasco votará sobre una agenda de consentimiento que incluye aprobaciones para dos nuevas escuelas chárter (Mater Academy Northwood Elementary y Middle) en Wesley Chapel, así como excursiones y reasignaciones disciplinarias. The board authorized charter applications for Mater Academy Northwood Elementary and Middle schools, along with personnel changes, purchasing contracts, and budget allocation adjustments. Superintendent Dr. John Legg reported a district graduation rate increase to 96.9% and noted the issuance of truancy referrals following court coordination.

Call to Order   The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Chairman Colleen Beaudoin, with the welcome and reading of the vision statement. Vice Chairman Hernandez shared the thought for the day, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. Present were Chairman Colleen Beaudoin, Vice Chairman Al Hernandez, and board members Jessica Wright, Megan Harding, and Cynthia Armstrong.
