✓ Decidido: Park bond resolution fails; playground contract amendment approved

The Park Advisory Commission voted on two resolutions. A resolution to recommend authorization of up to $10,000,000 in capital improvement bonds for park projects failed to pass due to a lack of majority vote and was tabled. A resolution to recommend approval of Amendment 1 to the Five-Year Professional Services Agreement with Michigan Recreational Construction, Inc. for playground improvement services (not to exceed $750,000 annually) was approved by majority vote, with Commissioner Winslow opposed. The commission also approved the agenda and the June 16, 2026 meeting minutes, and received updates on Veterans Park, the manager's report, and various project status reports.
