amount of $90,050. After further discussion with the Project Manager – Buteyn – Peterson Construction Co., the

Summer Projects
• Installed New Swing Set at Quade Park.
• Replaced damaged equipment at the Quade Park Playground and wood chips were
added woodchips to the Playground area.
• Replace all the lights in the pavilion with updated LED Lights/power washed the
concrete and restrained multiple board on the Pavilion at Quade Park.
• New Baseball Fence was installed at Peninsula Park, baseball bases were also updated
and 4 dump truck loads of ball diamond mix were added to the infield.
• 80 Feet of the Fence at Schowalter Field was repaired.
Equipment Update
• New Loader arrived with snowplow in mid-December of 2025.
• New Pick-up Truck with snowplow was ordered in February and is expected to be here
in June 2026.
Cemetery Report
• Year to date there has been 6 Burials. 4 Cremations and 2 Full Burials.

Hebein reported per Accurate Appraisal – Kyle Kabe, the 2026 Assessment Roll would be available
during Open Book scheduled for June 17, 2026.
This meeting was held to meet the requirement of meeting within 45 days of the 4 th Tuesday in
April.

Wagner stated the April 2026 Investment Report was provided in the packet.
Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion & Future DPW Building Pad Development Bid
Wagner stated Sean Sullivan - Ruekert & Mielke prepared a memo regarding the excessive dollar amount
of the bids received for the expansion and development project.
Sullivan provided an overview of the project, stating it should be divided into 2 separate phases.
Sullivan noted this would encourage the smaller contractors in the Saukville area to bid on the project.
Phase 1 – Grubbing – Tree (stumps/roots) & brush removal.
Phase 2 – Grading.
Sullivan added that there would be a walkthrough of the area to discuss and protect existing trees that
should not be removed.

Thorpe stated the last Conventional Rate Case (CRC) was completed on March 31, 2016 with a 25% increase
to the Village of Saukville Water Rate. She noted a Simplified Rate Case (SRC) of 3% took effect on January
1, 2026.
Thorpe added in 2027 a 14.49% increase is recommended to fund ongoing operation and the Eastside Water

Village President Andy Hebein called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
Julie Friede gave the Statement of Public Notice.
Members: Andy Hebein -present, Jim Nowlen -present, Bill Rudolph-present, Pamela Duckart-present,
Jesse Duckart-present, Wendy Smith-present, and Brandon Donen-via zoom.

1424 Sumac Lane requested by Charles Weyker contingent upon final review and approval from the
Building Inspector and all permits are obtained. Motion Carried.
