Robinson Reserve at Duke Park Advisory Board

Civil Service Commission

The Troy Civil Service Commission is meeting to handle routine business, including approving minutes and reviewing a position description for Assistant Director. Planning Commission

Park Board

The Troy Board of Park Commissioners will meet to elect officers, reappoint Miami Shores Golf Course Advisory Board members, and consider extending a non-alcoholic beverage service agreement. They will also consider allowing MetroNet Fibernet to store cable vaults and gravel at MeadowPoint Park, and discuss a soil study for the Joe Reardon Skate Park redesign.

City Council Committee Meetings

The Troy City Council committees will meet to discuss and provide recommendations on several items: authorizing a $250,000 construction management agreement for the Water Treatment Plant valve replacement project, deferring loan payments for 18 downtown businesses for three months, releasing a mortgage lien for a paid-off home repair loan, and adopting updates to the property maintenance code including fence regulations for pools. These are recommendations to the full Council, not final decisions.

City Council

Troy City Council will consider several resolutions and ordinances, including a $250,000 contract for environmental cleanup of an abandoned gas station at 100 W. Market St., a memorandum of understanding with Troy City Schools, and a measure to sell surplus property via internet auctions. The council will also elect a president pro tem and clerk pro tem, and appoint the Clerk of Council.
