Shreveport City Council to consider 2023 budgets and multiple rezoning requests
The City Council is meeting to discuss the adoption of numerous 2023 fund budgets and several 2022 budget amendments. The body will also consider zoning changes for properties on East Kings Highway, Pine Hill Road, Provenance Place Boulevard, and Lexington Avenue.
- Rezoning southeast corner of East Kings Highway and East 70th Street from rural agriculture to heavy commercial
- Rezoning north side of Pine Hill Road from single-family residential to multi-family residential
- Rezoning east side of Lexington Avenue south of Pierremont Road from single-family residential to neighborhood commercial
- Introduction of 18 separate 2023 budget ordinances for various city funds
- Proposed special exception use approval standards for short-term rental properties
