Zoning Board of Adjustment

The Zoning Board of Adjustment will consider two variance requests. The first is from Jesus Palacios Delgado to allow a 3-foot front setback to keep an unpermitted carport at 730 S River St; staff recommends against. The second is from a church to reduce lot size and depth for rezoning at 634 S Goodrich; staff recommends approval.

• Variance to reduce front setback from 25 ft to 3 ft for unpermitted carport at 730 S River St (VAR 07-26)
• Variance to allow lot depth of 86 ft and lot size 5,562 sq ft for church rezoning at 634 S Goodrich (VAR 08-26)
• Staff recommends denial of VAR 07-26 due to lack of hardship
• Staff recommends approval of VAR 08-26 as lot is legal non-conforming
• Previous meeting minutes from June 11, 2026, approved
