City Council Meetings
The City Council will hold a second reading and vote on ordinances updating the municipal code to comply with new state laws for urban dwelling units, accessory dwelling units (ADUs), and junior ADUs. They will also consider accepting a $500,000 grant for Smith Park renovations, awarding a $108,000 contract for railroad trench maintenance, approving a 13-unit condominium development at 327 East Broadway, and replacing a damaged streetlight for $26,000. Additionally, they will adopt updated rules of order and decorum for public meetings in response to Senate Bill 707.
