The Williston City Commission unanimously approved the comprehensive plan amendment, preliminary plat, PUD master plan, and base zoning for the Williston Square mixed-use redevelopment of the former Sloulin Field International Airport site. The commission also approved a $597,015 amendment to the XWA airport terminal construction contract, bringing the final guaranteed maximum price to $60,222,104. Several other items were approved, including a $407,000 bid for 11 police SUVs, a $1.5 million loan for the airport ARFF building, and multiple economic development grants.
