Hearing Examiner
The Pocatello Hearing Examiner will hold a public hearing on a variance request by ICON Pocatello LLC for a student housing project at 651 Memorial Drive. The variance seeks to allow a 75-foot building height, 173 units, up to 5 unrelated occupants per unit, and reduced parking with 52 on-site and 200 off-site stalls. City Council

City Council
The Pocatello City Council will hold public hearings to adopt official housing and urban forest plans. Members will also vote on an ordinance to rezone property near Century High School and annex nearly 19 acres into city limits. Additionally, the council will approve multiple infrastructure contracts, including a $1.3 million water well project and sewer rehabilitation work.

Historic Preservation Commission
The Historic Preservation Commission will approve last month's minutes and discuss updates on downtown preservation efforts. Staff will present progress on installing historic plaques for local businesses and coordinate an August walking tour. The group will also review ideas for future historic home history projects.
