Payson Village Board- Regular Meeting December 9, 2025 Meeting called to order- Mayor Dever asks for roll call. Those present were Mayor Chris Dever; and Trustees: Kristi Shelton, Roger Sunde, Chuck Fisher, and Ryan Brinks; also present are city employees: Deputy Caleb Newell, Director of Maintenance Jason Perry, Village Clerk Shelly Taylor, and Attorney Barney Bier. Secretary’s Report Roger made a motion to accept the secretary’s report, seconded by Ryan, all approved. Communications/Guests: Guests in attendance were Kathy Crim, John Simon, and Mike Hummel. John Simon discussed the county’s plan to add additional first responder stations for ambulance services, possibly 2027/8. Discussed possible locations including current fire station and lift station property. Guest Mike Hummel mentioned the improvements needed for current fire station. Police: Deputy Newell mentioned updates including foreclosure on Fulton, progress made with violations. He suggested electric bike regulations for minors, and mentioned fraud case regarding payroll. Roger suggested a temporary permit option for residents showing progress on business and housing updates which will be revisited. Kathy Crim asked about non licensed vehicles Maintenance Committee: Jason discussed improvements on wells and getting bids for rehab projects. Water tower construction proceeding according to Klingner as mentioned by Chris. Chris stated the snow removal went well for the recent snow. …
