Planning Commission

Cultural Arts Commission

The regular meeting of the Oxnard Cultural Arts Commission scheduled for January 4, 2023, was canceled. The next regular meeting is scheduled for February 1, 2023.

Inter-Neighborhood Council Organization

The Inter-Neighborhood Council Organization (INCO) will receive several city department updates. These include reports on the Speed Hump Program, Special Districts Sidewalk Grinding, and the Water Division. Members will also discuss planning a candidate forum for the District 6 election.

The Inter-Neighborhood Council Organization approved the creation of an ad-hoc subcommittee to plan a candidate forum for the District 6 election. Members also received verbal reports from city officials regarding the speed hump program, sidewalk grinding, and the Water Division.

City Council

The Oxnard City Council will meet to discuss the continuation of a local emergency due to drought conditions and water supply concerns. The agenda also includes real property negotiations and appointments to various city commissions.

The City Council voted to continue a local emergency declaration due to drought conditions and adopted a resolution of solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community. The council also approved several consulting contracts for community development and appointed members to various city commissions.
