Planning Commission

The Planning Commission voted 5-2 (with two abstentions) to adopt final findings approving a conditional use for a 30-bed residential/memory care facility at 182 Warner Parrott Road. The commission also selected Dirk Schlagenhaufer as Chair and Mike Mitchell as Vice Chair for 2021. No public comment was received. The commission discussed potential budget and work session topics for the upcoming biennium, with a letter to the City Commission to be drafted for next meeting.

The Citizen Involvement Committee approved sending a revised solicitation letter to inactive neighborhoods using funds from those neighborhoods. The committee also discussed supporting a city charter change to eliminate commission position numbers, with further discussion planned for February. No other substantive decisions were made.
