Planning Commission

The Orange County Planning Commission will hold an organizational meeting to elect officers and set the 2023 schedule, then conduct public hearings on a tax-delinquency development-approval ordinance and a rezoning of 21 acres on Old Gordonsville Road. A worksession will focus on design guidelines, transportation, open space, and other plans for the Wilderness Crossing project (REZ 22-03).

The Commission recommended that the Board of Supervisors deny a rezoning request for a 1.5-acre parcel to General Industrial. The Commission approved a preliminary plat for the 100-home Winterberry Creek Subdivision and deferred action on a subdivision and zoning ordinance amendment.
